I am assuming that I should send my warrior jetting through the missions to equip my r/e with a better bow lol.

I too prefer Range over ROF as it is nice to park on cliffs and zip Charr. I am left assuming now that I should find a good high damage Half moon bow to for a close range weapon set. Of course, a good shortbow would work, but the half moon looks cooler. If I really wanted to get finite, I would have 3 bows - a long bow for Charr/fast movers, a flat bow for the slow movers, and a short/moon bow for close quarters fighting. From the looks of things, maybe just 2 bows - flat bow (has same RoF as short/moon bow, but slower arrows that really aren't too dodgable at point blank) and a long bow for those fast movers.
Only hole I see in that setup is interrupts - interrupts can be damn hard to do with flatbows and longbows. I know. I've tried.

Default Quick Question

Hey guys,

Quick question on this thread.... I notice that you stated something about a mob's ability to evade an arrow... Do different bows have different potentials for evade? If so, that's awesome! Beyond that, I'd assume that the speed of the projectile is what dictates whether or not it is evaded.

Anyway, thanks in advance.

Speed of projectile and trajectory... a high arcing shot is easier to evade than a more direct-path shot.

Anyone know where the collector is that will give you a 15-28 Ascalon Bow with +15% damage when health is above 50%?

I've seen a lot of "I prefer range over ROF", but shouldnt you be carrying two bows just in case? I know I do.

My strongest bow is the Ascalon bow but it is my least favorite out of the 4 bows I have because it's projectile speed is so archy and slow. I will miss my target if they moved. My favorite one is my Fiery Short bow because it will hit a moving target most of the time. It has the quickest reload and release time. The only bow that I haven't found is the ivory bow. I need to find some weapon upgrades for my bows.

LOL I carry 4 bows right now, but sooner or later I hope to have 7 or 8 - 2 longrange bows, 4 different elemental short-range bows, my vampiric halfmoon, and my sundering shortbow.
